The Johnson Development Company, a company renowned for its huge master-planned communities, has announced plans to redevelop Lake Arrowhead.  The 8,200 acre mountain development in northwest Cherokee is getting a facelift! 

Some of the plans include reconfiguring the golf course and adding a new clubhouse and landscaping.  Some retail commercial could follow once more homes are built.  The developers will try to maintain the rustic and natural feel that the neighborhood has become so well known for.   

Lake Arrowhead really has it all.  It is 10-15 minutes from Canton and 575.  It is a gated community that boasts a crystal clear 540 acre mountain lake.  There is golf,  tennis courts, a clubhouse with restaurant, gorgeous pool, a marina, and even a horse stable!  It has kept its natural appeal with acres of woods, natural wildlife and mountain views everywhere you look.
